OKIN AI ZERO-PRESSURE RECLINER: when comfort meets home health monitoring
Health monitoring has always been a crucial point on prevention and early diagnosis, but that was hard to do because it implicated in frequent doctor appointments and hospital visits.Recently many improvements have been made. Technology has come a long way on creating new tools to facilitate basic health monitoring in devices that don’t require so much time and effort.
OKIN has made a further step on bringing health monitoring inside your home, reliable and easy to use. And not only that, but it has combined it to provide further comfort to your life. OKIN AI Zero-Pressure Recliner is our latest creation: an innovative recliner that accurately monitors pulse, heartbeat and breathing rate in different seating positions to find out which one is the position that grants more comfort and relaxation to the body.
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Inside of the backrest of the recliner we embedded a small Millimeter Wave FMCW radar that detects pulse, heartbeat and breathing rate through a close contact non-invasive monitoring, reducing the amount of electromagnetic radiation often used on other systems.
Once activated, the recliner changes positions while the radar collects the pulse, heartbeat and breathing rate of the user in several different positions. During this phase a blue light under the sofa flashes, indicating that the monitoring is on.
Results are then analyzed by an AI algorithm that, based the Zero-Gravity concept, determines the position that provides greater relaxation to the user at that particular moment and automatically sets the recliner to it.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

ALWAYS ON TRACK: The data collected is sent to OKIN’s dedicated APP. Not only the results can be seen in real time but the APP generates daily, weekly and monthly reports, becoming an important ally on home health monitoring, especially for elderly people.
REMOTE FAMILY CARE: When an abnormal heartbeat is detected by the Millimeter Wave FMCW radar, it gives an alert sign. The APP can be programmed to send a signal to a pre-registered phone number, alerting family members about the results.
EASY AND SIMPLE TO USE: Unlike other complicated and not so user-friendly devices, OKIN AI Zero-Pressure Recliner can be used by anyone – all it takes is to seat on the recliner.

To provide even greater comfort, the recliner is also equipped with several other functions, such as an integrated massage system, that offers a professional customized massage experience at home, and a heating pad that activates automatically according to the set temperatures for a warm and comfortable feeling, while breathing exercises and several relaxation music and sounds are available on the APP.
The AI integrated algorithm will always provide the best position for the user, but let’s not forget that this is a Zero-Gravity Recliner with all its functions. This means that the user can also adjust the position of the recliner using the app, push-button hand control or an intelligent offline voice control has desired at any moment, to find the most comfortable position to just seat, rest, watch TV or even take a nap.
